By purchasing goods or services from Trophyology, customers agree to the following terms, conditions, and customer service policies as outlined below.
Product Quality
Our awards, trophies, plaques, and gifts are handcrafted from premium materials, including wood, metal, and glass. Each piece is carefully designed and crafted with meticulous attention to detail.
As a result of handcrafted quality, no two pieces are exactly alike—each award has its own unique character and variations, which we consider part of the inherent charm and beauty of our work.
For products made from natural wood, variations in color, grain, texture, and density are expected and celebrated as a mark of authenticity. These natural differences do not constitute defects but rather enhance the individuality of each piece.
All dimensions listed on our website and catalog are approximate, as slight variations may occur due to the nature of handcrafted production.
Pricing
Each award, plaque, and gift is priced based on complexity, materials, and finish. Pricing is available on our website and in our downloadable pricing catalog. Some specialty items are priced upon request.
Sales tax may apply depending on your location.
Ordering Policy
Deposits + Payments
- A deposit is required when placing an order.
- The balance is due upon order completion and before shipment unless alternative arrangements have been made.
- We accept payments via ACH, company check, and credit card.
Final Invoicing + Payment Processing
- The final invoice is due on the shipping date.
- Payment will be processed automatically or an invoice will be sent electronically.
- If you prefer an alternative payment method or a courtesy notification before final payment, please let us know in advance.
Shipping + Delivery
Shipping Methods
We typically ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. DHL services are available for international shipments.
Insurance + Delivery Requirements
- All shipments are insured and require a signature upon delivery.
- International orders are shipped using the client’s shipping account, and all shipping and export-related fees will be billed directly to the client's account.
Freight Damage
If your shipment arrives damaged, please:
- Report the issue immediately and provide photos of the damaged packaging and products.
- Retain all original packaging materials.
- Trophyology will file a freight claim with the shipping carrier and provide further instructions for resolution.
Returns, Refunds & Order Cancellations
As nearly all of our products are custom-made, featuring personalized engravings and unique design elements, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for custom orders.
Defects + Errors
- If there is an unnatural defect or issue not related to the natural variations described above, please notify us within 3 business days of receiving your order. We will review the concern and work expeditiously to resolve it.
- If an engraving error occurs due to incorrect client-provided information, any correction costs will be the client’s responsibility.
Changes to Orders
- If excessive engraving or design revisions are requested after a review proof has been provided, additional charges may apply.
Order Cancellations + Deposit Policy
- Due to the custom nature of our work, orders cannot be canceled or reduced after finalization.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
Intellectual Property
Unless noted otherwise as a Partner Product, all designs displayed on Trophyology.com are the intellectual property of Trophyology/Eva Schöne Arnold.
Any custom award designs created by Trophyology/Eva Schöne Arnold—including but not limited to:
- Sketches, original artwork, electronic design files, schematics, models, and prototypes remain the exclusive property of Trophyology/Eva Schöne Arnold.
These designs may not be used, replicated, or fabricated by any other entity without prior written consent from Trophyology/Eva Schöne Arnold.
Policy Updates
Trophyology reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
